    IV lines, Peg tubes, Chemotherapy catheters, and Infusion catheters.
* Is specifically designed for protecting the catheter area during a shower.
* Is disposable and for single use.

Note: CoverCath™ IV is NOT for full immersion into water and is not for taking a bath or swimming.

How To Use CoverCath™ IV

Instructions For Use Of CoverCath™ IV

  1. (Step 1): Clean the catheter site with alcohol and let dry.
  2. (Steps 2-10): Insert the catheter through the hole of the CoverCath IV and peel off the upper part of the adhesive cover, which is done from the slit in the middle of the adhesive. Press the adhesive firmly on the skin and follow the same procedure on the bottom part of the adhesive carefully bending the bag to peel off the bottom adhesive cover and press to the skin.
  3. (Steps 11-15): In removing the CoverCath, slowly pull off the CoverCath IV from the top of the adhesive. There might be slight pain on removing the device.
    CoverCath IV can only be used once.

Warnings For CoverCath™ IV

  1. NOTE: CoverCath IV is only recommended for showering and not for bathing or swimming. Notify your medical personnel immediately if the device gets detached or water gets into the bag.
  2. Do not use CoverCath IV if there is any defect in the adhesive or bag.
  3. The adhesive is hypoallergenic. If you develop any rash, discomfort or any reaction from its use, notify your medical personnel immediately.
  4. Failure to follow there instructions may result in failure of the device.
